1. Should the two boys be tried as adults? Why or why not? It depends on the laws of Washington and the specific case and common law as to what they should be tried as since they are very close to being of age.

2. Should their identity remain undisclosed or since the crime is heinous? justify your answer? Yes, unless their parents give a press release because it could ruin their lives if they're tried as not guilty in the future.

3. What can we as a society do to keep crimes like this from happening? Teach our kids not to beat old men, no matter how desperate and besides that you can't really prevent this kind of thing.
